Before the Curtain For two years, I had the pleasure of working with the Atlanta Ballet. My first year of working with them was also the last year that ballet legend Bobby Barnett was the company artistic director. I had virtually unfettered access to the front of house and backstage areas during dress rehearsals and performances. It was a fascinating perspective. I was witness to that part of the life of the ballet that the audience never sees - the world of what happens leading up to opening night, before the curtain. |
